Hi,
In 10.3, and now in 10.4, I've tried to keep network shared drives that I connect to often in the right side of my dock (near the trash can).
Without fail, inevitably, the drives turn to icons with question marks-- usually as a result of my trying to connect by clicking on the icon when I had no network connectivity.
Is there a way to make it so that they never turn to question marks, even if you mistakenly click on the icon when you have no connectivity.
It's not so hard for me to remap to the drive then re-dock the icon-- but for some of my co-workers whom I support, it's terribly frustrating for them to get their laptop home and after a while realize that they can't click on the icon to get to the drive anymore.
any advice would be appreciated.
thanks
