Is there any way to override the OS so that when I make a new folder its permission settings are Read+Write for everyone? I know I can use Tinker Tool to sort of allow this, but it only works when you make a new folder from within an application. So if you make a new folder from the Finder, it doesn't work.
Folder permissions are a major source of frustration at my office because we continually share files and folders and then have to go manually changing permissions just to use them. It's very annoying.
I want to set up all my office machines so that any new folder or file has Read+Write permissions. And it needs to be something that automatically happens because we'll never remember to do it manually each time.
