Oracle on OS X

although it doesn't help, the CEO and founder of Oracle has been on the Apple board of directors since 1997... you would have thought that Oracle would have been at least thought of for Mac OS X...

I have followed the instructions at

http://www.orablogs.com/sergio/archives/000781.html

however, when I run the installer it starts, but when I press the "next" button it crashes and asks me to report this to oracle.

Any help would be welcome, thank you.
Word to the wise: Sergio is an idiot. He claimed that he did not have a C compiler. Anyone who doesn't know that every Macintosh ships with the Developer Tools, either preinstalled or as an optional installation on the System Restore disk--has no business with 10 feet of anything as important as an enterprise-level DBMS like Oracle 10g. Find someone else to follow.
