Palm crashes on every sync (photo dbase?)

Barking at the moon.
So I've got a little Palm Zire that I'd like to use, but everytime I sync it with my Mac (OS 10.3) it (the palm) crashes while to trying to synch it's photo database or something like that. Is there a way I can disable or fix this?
 
I had the same problem: Palm Sync tries to synch database that are not available in the Zire. You can select which databases to synch in HotSync, and you should suppress the databases you don't need.
