Powerbook 12" can't find internal airport

Hi,

My GF's 12" Powerbook suddenly refuses to find its Airport. I recently (1-2 weeks ago) upgraded it to Tiger, and applied all patches and firmware updates, and it has been rebooted several times since that without a hitch.

I have tried to follow the instructions from the manual for starting and running HW diagnostics, but they seem not to be on the Tiger install disk - is that correct, and if so, where should I look for them instead?

use disk utility to repair disk permissions.
The last security update screwed with my airport, this fixed it.

?? Surely that can't be it ?? Oh well, will try it...

OK, have now tried repair permission after installing the latest Airport patch, and still no joy. Back to finding the HW diagnostics---anyone who can point me to the right place to look? As mentioned, it seems they are not on the Tiger install DVD, but that was purchased seperately...
