I have added a Printer to my Open Directory Domain (screenshot). I have written "HP LaserJet 2200" as PrinterType ("HP LaserJet 2200" is the *ModelName in the PPD file).
After that I have opened Server Admin and added a Printer to the queque. The name is currectly "HP LaserJet 2200", but the kind is "Generic PostScript Printer".
Why doesn't it use HP's drivers?
If I add the printer with the "Printer Setup Utility" it uses the correct drivers.
