I can not get my mac (osx 10.3.9) to print to my HP1012 printer via our psus4 print server. It recognizes the printer via appletalk, but when I try to print to it it prints a page that says "unsupported personality

I used to have the hp printer connected directly to my mac via usb and it printed just fine - so I know the mac and hp work together. The printer server is supposed to support mac osx as well....I can't figure it out.
