I am on 10.5 Leopard, installed pureFTPd Manager.
Most of the work I have are with outside freelance developers. so, the story is, I have a development directory for each web application. Freelance developers are given access to this application directory as their home directory and restricted to FTP only in this directory. the same web directory is used for their test web application.
However, I noticed that some developers local and overseas download most of the application files they are not supposed to, thinking that probably I do not know what their doing.
Is there a way in pureFTPd Manager to:
- Restrict developers only to the specific directories where the files are located, then,
- Restrict developer only to have write/read/execute permission only to that file.
I tried to restrict r/w or execute only on some but I am having problems doing testing on the web, getting no permission.
