I currently have QuickTime 7.0.1 on my computer with a Pro key. If I upgrade will I need a new key? It's happened to me before, just wanna check in case :cool:
 
when you upgraded to 7 that would have made your v6.x serial number invalid. v7 was a pay upgrade.
 
usually with Quicktime, any dot release (6.0.x, 6.5.x) will be free... so, if you've got Quicktime 6.0, then the upgrade to 6.0.1 or 6.1 would be free, but an upgrade from 6.0 to 7.0 would not.
