I iriminage Registered Dec 6, 2002 #1 I was just sent a flipviewer beta version for OS X. In the instructions it said to open the downloaded software in my root folder. I don't no where the root folder is and can't find it with the search tool. Any help? Thanks

S starfleetX Elite Member Dec 6, 2002 #2 The root level of your drive is the very top level of the hierarchy. In the Terminal, it's /. In the Finder, it's what you see when you double-click your hard drive icon. The System, Users, and Applications folders are under the root directory.
