Safari can't establish a secure connection

I am having a very frustrating problem with Safari which can't open any https page. A message pops up because it can't establish a secure connection to the server. Safari has been working fine until something (?) happened. I am running Mac OS X 10.3.9. Safari is 1.3.1. I have re-installed it, verified my Keychains, added the X509Anchors keychain as recommended by some messages, and is now out of ideas!!! Microsoft Explorer works fine.

Any suggestion is welcomed - Thanks!
