safari startup with tabs

Is it possible to save a setup of several tabs in safari so that next time you have to restart, safari automatically creates the same tabs you had last time?

Why not just create a folder in your Toolbar and put the pages you want to open in Tabs in there. Then just click that folder and you'll see the option at the bottom of the list to open in Tabs, or Command click the folder and all pages will open in Tabs.

The reason why not is that doing what you suggest would always open the same set of websites that you put in the folder, not the websites that you last had open as was requested. Safari doesn't seem to have a way to open the tabs that were open at the end of your last session, which probably explains why its not very popular, as most other browsers have that capability. Even the laggard of internet browsing Internet Explorer does it.

Safari, under 'History' does have a menu selection 'Reopen all Windows from last session', this might do the job.

bugle, this thread is from 2003 so the version of Safari it refers is rather old too...
(And bobw has been dead from 2007 too :( )
