I have enabled the Samba server on my Tiger Server installation and I am able to mount my OSX home share on a Linux samba client.
But now i would like to know if it is possible to add a new 'custom' samba share. For instance, if i would make a new folder '/network-shares/mp3' how can i add this folder to samba? Or what if i plugged in a external USB/FW drive and wanted to share that temporarely?
I know i could simply modify /etc/smb.conf, but that's probably not the best/correct way.
In Windoze you can simply right-click on any folder/drive and select 'share'. Is there a same option for OSX Server?
Thanks.
