I am helping my daughter get her Samsung multifunction connected to her iMac. I found this ticket to be very helpful.

She does have Photoshop installed but when I go to Import > Samsung Series 4200 > I get the Warning message that no Scanner is connected. But looking on the System Profiler, it does recognize that the Samsung Printer is connected via USB. Any suggestions about what else is needed?
