I'm happy to say that I've finally got the DNS set up to use my home Mac as a Web server... I guess I was no surprised that this did not work when my Mac is sleeping, but I've been trying to figure out the best way to lock the machine.
The choices seem to be:
1) Log out of the current user session
2) Use a screen saver with the password enabled
3) Use the Lock Screen feature of the Keychain Access application
I'd rather not log out because that way I can keep the programs I use often open...
So I guess my question is if there are any technical/security differences between options 2 & 3?
