Script for VLC

mmm... the built-in DVD player isnt playing all my DVD's... it just sits sthere and says "NOT PERMITTED" whenever i press abutton. so i was wondering if you guys could help me out with a script that would play DVD movies from VLC immediately when they's inserted???

"Not Permitted" means the DVD has yet to complete the FBI warning up front, or it may mean you need to press the Play button. There's also a chance that your DVDs are region-encoded and your DVD player disallows those regions. Supposedly there is a way to flash your DVD player to make it "regionless" or to reset its allowance of region-encoded discs. Perhaps someone else here can point you in the right direction.

yeah that may be it, but vlc ALWAYS plays those discs, even the ones that DVD Player wont play...
