Good Morning guys -
Im hoping someone can help me out. I have a home network which I just upgraded (Airport Extreme) - and I have two Mac Laptops - a Macbook Pro running 10.6.8 and a much older PowerBook G4 running 10.4.11
What I am essentially trying to do is turn my older mac into a server - or at the very least get sharing access so I can transfer some of my older files off the PowerBook via the network - I know I can always just connect a drive directly and pull them off If I want to do a hard transfer of data.
When I go into my sharing preferences on the machine running 10.4.11 - I open up Personal file sharing - and I can see a 'public' folder that is shared but - is there a way to grant much larger access to other folders? Im assuming there is??
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you -
Lenny
