Slow DSL

I have DSL broadband (1MB). My download speed seems to have reduced significantly over the last few weeks (currently about 60KB/s).

I know of no phone company upgrades or major works at present. My ISP claims that there are no problems.

I just wonder there is anything I should be looking at at my end?
 
First of all, I have to ask...

Have you installed Skype, Joost, VoIP lately? A 1 meg service is pretty slow anyway, call about a 3, 5, or 7 meg service - talking to them (tell them you are leaving to another service for a better deal...) can get the deals flowing

Next - or actually this should be first - test your speed! testmy.net, toast.net, internetfrog.com there's a ton of them out there... then ask yourself the previous questions!
