Software update doesn't connect

For the last few days I've noticed that Software Update doesn't connect. After a couple of minutes I get an error stating that it can't connect to the internet and I should check the connection (obviously I'm connected already).
Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?
 
Which OS are you running?
Can your problematic computer access the Internet otherwise?
How are you connected to the Internet?
 
It's an 867MHz (1.128G) 12" Powerbook G4, running OSX 10.4.6 and is connected to the internet (quite happily,otherwise) via Airport thru a D-Link DI-524 wireless router.
Other than System Update, it connects to the net just fine.

Download my application, Mac HelpMate. It has a setting to set the software update server in the prefs tab. Next to that is a reset button. Just click the reset button and see if that helps.
