The shutdown key on the keyboard that came with my beige G3 is not working properly. It has lost the recoil that should be there after the key is depressed. It still functions. But it is now very sensitive. A slight touch will result in a dialog box asking if I want to shut down.
Can I fix this problem myself? Is it safe to unscrew the screws on the bottom and disassemble the keyboard? If so, how do I fix the described problem?
