SuperDisk Drive troubles

I just upgraded to 10.2.2 on my eMac and have discovered that my Imation SuperDisk Drive (120MB) will no longer load disks. Is there any way to resurrect it? Imation no longer makes the unit in the 120MB (they went to 240MB).

I have read on the Imation site that if you disconnect the drive from the USB, wait 5 seconds, and then reconnect, then it should recognize the drive.
My problem with a 240MB model is that 10.2.3 won't mount the SuperWriter 32, and this is baffling me.
