Hi,
I have an old SCSI Travan drive that I want to see if I can use for bakups on my OS X box. It's APS branded (model # 2094-008P, if that means anything to anybody), and Retrospect says the guts are Seagate.
I've got an Adaptec SCSI card (2096, I think) and I just downloaded the driver for that today.
And of course, is doesn't work. Retrospect's Device Info shows the thing as being there, but when the time comes to run the backup, it says, "No device present."
I'll try to get in touch with APS to see if they can help, but I've never had great service from them.
Does anybody know if this can even work? And how?
Thanks,
Jeff
