Many folks like to use their Macbook as a desktop computer at the office or at home. They plug in a bigger monitor, a keyboard, a mouse, etc., and it becomes a great desktop.
You may have seen some fancy Macbook stands/holders on the Web that allow you to stand up your Macbook on edge while using it as a desktop, to free up more desk space. Here is a nice example:
TwelveSouth BookArc stand
$50

I'd like to point out a stand that is dirt cheap, but which does the same job and looks fantastic while doing it:
Ikea Clear Fantastisk Napkin Holder
Around $12 shipped
