First off, I'd like to make it quite clear that I'm a complete moron for doing this. I was in the process of updating to QuickTime 7, when I realized that I was going to be late for work if I let this go any longer. I cancelled the update midway through and thought I'd do it when I got back home.
Upon returning home and attempting to do the update again, the updater told me that I can't install the software because a newer version of QuickTime has already been installed.
Being the idiot I am, I deleted just about everything associated with QT and thought I'd start on a fresh slate. Obviously a bad move. iTunes looks like garbage now since I probably deleted some files that it used, and iMovie quits everytime I start it up.
So yeah. Idiot move. I know. Even with everything and it's dog deleted, I still am unable to install Quicktime. I'm running OS 10.3.9 if that helps.
Can anyone help me through this problem?
