Trouble With Music Downloads.

Once i download music from a record labels web, when i go to save as: the only format it gives me is "quick time movie", .. i need it to save under mp3 or else it wont read. I'm assuming that my computer must be set w/quick time as my default so I need to figure out how to change it.
*..if thats the reason.

If the "Save As" format specifies that the file is a .mov, you have to save it as a .mov and convert it to another format manually.

With QuickTime Pro, you have the option of saving "as source," and the file format will be identical to the original file format.
