Use Mac Mini / Osx 10.4.2 As Wifi Router

hi,

my mac mini has internet access through lan with wired ethernet link. this interface has a fixed ip address and gateway/dns.

i would like to share this connection using the airport interface. i guess i have to setup the macmini as a gateway. Maybe i'll need to setup another network for wifi connected computers? how to setup keys and hide sid of this network ...

and yet, is everything possible ?

You could setup an ad-hoc connection between y our mac-mini and then share that to a 2nd pc.. however it wont natively run in AP mode. I am not sure the AirPort Driver will support that feature.

I would just buy a linksys wifi Ap.. Cheap and elegant solution.
