When did I upgrade?

In my start up disk menu I noticed that there is a version of 9.0.4
The current version of 9 I use is 9.2.2 (not even sure how that got upgraded).
I mainly run Mac OSX 10.2 but I do switch to 9.2.2 on occasion. Out of curisosity I tried to boot up on 9.0.4 and my computer would not start.
Is there anyway can delete the 9.0.4 from the start up window?

OSX 10.2
 
locate the 9.0.4 system folder. drag it to the trash. empty trash. no more 9.0.4 :)
