what?
well, like the topic says, where? I've been wondering this since I got my mac but never found an answer. I know I can change that with get info, but there must be a file that stores this info. it is unix after all 
oh and some files defy these rules. u can change with what app to open for only one file. but some proggys (mm dreamweaver...) do that on their own. can I make an app to be default no matter what the certain file wants?
