Will 133 DIMM RAM work in iMac 400 DV?

profx

ill never 4get watsisname
From the Applespec page :iMac 400 DV, Min RAM Speed: 100 MHz

I presume that the newer (and more widely avaliable) 133Mhz RAM will work as well?

I was thinking of getting some more ram but it is expensive to buy SD100, so i want to get a 256MB SD133 chip. Will this work in my iMac?

Thanks

Not too sure bout that one, i stuck a 512mg PC133 ram chip into a 400mhz DV imac and it refused to start. the same chip then started a SDRAM based PC no wories

The PC133 ram will work just fine. Make sure it's a name brand and not some generic stuff. I have a 512mb PC150 in my iMac DV+ and it works great. I've also noticed Mac's like CAS 2 moreso over CAS 3. :)
