Windows APPS on MACs

I think that would depend on the game. There are emulators that will run Win32 apps, but whether or not those emulators can do the heavy graphics processing needed by some games I do not know.

I think that solitaire would run just fine, though. :D

There already is, for most Windows programs. It's called Virtual PC. The only problem is, it runs quite slowly in OS X, so gaming isn't gonna go well.

no. an emulator will never be as fast as the native platform, so cutting edge games will never be playable on an emulator. older games will work though. besides virtual pc, there is also the open source bochs, which you can find for download on apple s website.

apple is not interested in making its own emulator for windows. and an emulator is usually a bad solution. if you really want to play windows games, then you need a windows box.
