Would you turn your iPad into a steering wheel for racing games?

Been thinking about this since I got an iPad a few days ago and I want to build one. Do you think it would be good for racing games? I have a super basic dev version running for Asphalt 6 and its pretty sweet adding touch/swipe/tilt controls to these games. I think it could also be cool for flight sims. playing around with dead zones and things like that right now. What do you think? how could I make it super awesome?

Would love your ideas and suggestions in this post!
