well, if you are saving them as .jpeg, and not .jpg, then that might be what is throwing off the pcs. they really don't do well with file extentions that are more than 3 letters/numbers long, or are missing.

nope, os 9 did not have any. they were only 3rd party. darkside of the mac i believe was a free one that works similar to afterdark, and could even use many of afterdark's modules. i think you can find a link to it on pure-mac.com.

correct. have you by chance downloaded the manual for the 250 and read it? it may answer several of your questions, and clear things up for you. thats what i did, and thats what sold me on the 250.

what file format is the card in? unless its fat32, the mac can't write to it. did you format it with the wii? it may use a format that the mac can't write too. its also possible that the wii software locked it.

if you want to go with elgato, get the eyetv250. its a usb2 hardware encoder, that comes with a breakout cable with s-video and rca connecors on it. also the 250 is a current product and works great. i have one and love it.
