I just got a Nintendo Wii and a 1.0 GB SD card for it. I put the SD card in earlier and now when I plug the card into my mac it is read only. I really want to add some songs and movies, how can I fix this? Thanks!

PS- The card is not locked.
 
what file format is the card in? unless its fat32, the mac can't write to it. did you format it with the wii? it may use a format that the mac can't write too. its also possible that the wii software locked it.
 
That should be OK. I'm sure the SD card in my camera is FAT16 and that seems to work fine. You could, of course, try reformatting it in Disk Utility, selecting "MS-DOS Format" and see if the Wii still recognises it.
