I now use Word and Excel on my mac. Both seem to do the job just fine. More functions than i need so far. But i can use my logo's etc on letter heads easier than in text. Thumbs up from me.

Sounds like he mainly wants the NEW MAIL & number of ontop of the screensaver MORE than increased security. I too would find this useful as i use a few machines at the same time, and i too have a simple awake password to stop prying eyes should i leave the room etc. Anyone know of such an app? ;)

I Have a g4 powerbook i use at my office and at home, both on wireless networks. Linksys & Belkin. Both work just fine with my airport card in the g4 powerbook. And also with all my other pc's etc.

All Done. Only thing i did seperate was Iphoto and some docs. Bit miffed about iphoto as all my librarys are now as one? anyone know how i can make this back into as it was? when i saved i did say save as library file name. Thanks Prof and Fryke ;)

What do you recommend for backing up my ical,mail (panther), docs, itunes etc etc. Does .mac accounts let you back up all mail from mail, inc your own pop account mail? or do i need to back up my mail boxes? :)

Ohhhh NO!!!! It says UNIX file system??? When i was promted on install of OSX i clicked this option thinking it was right. So i have to start all over again? Oh my!!!!! Please confirm this is right before i re-install. Thanks so far prof. :o
