    Greatest Scenes in Cinema

(Not Vivaldi, Richard Wagner, March of the Valkyries. It is an amazing scene, I agree.) Anyone knows this film called Warriors, produced by the BBC ? Very probably the best film made on the Yugoslavian conflict(s). Well, one of the last scene, in the supermarket - extremely poignant. A...

    Kill Bill

Exceptional Just saw it one hour ago. Kill Bill vol. 1 is the perfect cocktail of action, brilliant filming and beautiful soundtrack I expected from Tarantino. Strangely enough, I never liked Pulp Fiction. I hated Jackie Brown (fell asleep in the middle). Reservoir Dogs was a masterpiece...

    Michael Jackson New Record

As lilbandit tries to bring the conversation to an end, I'll try to do the same, as far as my own opinion is concerned. I do follow BobW and others when they say that having an adult sleeping with a child - read: next to a child - is a highly suspicious thing. I also back up the people who...

What is your last study ?

Most of us are students or former students. We are all studying something at the moment, or have been quite recently. I'l just being curious: what are you studying right now ? This could be a class you like or dislike, a book you (have to) read, an article, a survey, anything. Here's my...

Safari is messing up encodings ! Argh !

Nope. I solved the problem by de-activating the Phonetic component of the Times font, which is a shame. This font is a Mac OS X default font, I haven't tried any weird font install. I'm clueless, but the most important is done: Safari displays serif text normally again. Thanks for your help ...

Safari is messing up encodings ! Argh !

As you can see, I recently discovered my Times font is now… its Phonetic alternate. I can't figure why, except that I opened FontBook for the first time today and that the problem may come from there.
