Nope. I solved the problem by de-activating the Phonetic component of the Times font, which is a shame. This font is a Mac OS X default font, I haven't tried any weird font install. I'm clueless, but the most important is done: Safari displays serif text normally again. Thanks for your help ...

As you can see, I recently discovered my Times font is now… its Phonetic alternate. I can't figure why, except that I opened FontBook for the first time today and that the problem may come from there.
