The Movies That You Like A Lot

I'm in a cyberpunk mood at the moment. - Blade Runner (Ridley Scott) My ultimate reference. Probably the darkest film I ever saw, along with Touch of Evil (Orson Welles). - Videodrome (David Cronenberg) Videodrome is very much like Existenz. Cronenberg is an intelligent reader of...

Speed Download 2: Anyone use this app?

I used to use it when I had a slower connection, it was a great app indeed, although I don't need it at all now. SpeedDownload is part of my own app's cemetary, along with GraphicConverter (which I've used for years in Mac OS 8), TurboMem (OSX.1), etc.

Policy on Warez, Serialz, and P2P Discussions

If vBulletin lets you do this, I propose you automatically send a PM to new members with all those stickies' instructions in it. I think Yahoo! Mail does this - you create an account, and automaticall receive a Yahoo! mail telling you you'll get kicked out if you use your address to spam.

    Michael Jackson New Record

Zammy-San > So, I don't see any crime in sleeping with children in the same bed. As far as legal texts are concerned, this is not a crime, although it is not considered as sane. Suspicion is legitimate, but again, one of the very few things I consider sacred is presumption of innocence...

    Michael Jackson New Record

Jackson is innocent until the contrary is proved. I agree he's highly suspicious, his general behavior tends to show he does weird things with youngsters. Although this is just public opinion/rumor, justice is something else.

    Michael Moore

Moore/Chomsky (re: Harvey) Collusion between the two sounds logical. Note however that Chomsky is an extremely learned person, just as his father (one of the most famous linguist in the world) was.

    Michael Moore

Many things are censored in the US without the public opinion knowing it. One of the most salient example is the Terry Gilliam movie "Brazil". Strictly every interesting bit of it has been cut off in the US version. M. Moore's books are, in my own view, more fun than facts. As lilbandit...

    AAC Protection Cracked?

The success of the AAC format, still, resides in the fact that you can now distinguish pirates (they distribute MP4 cracked files) from legal users (they use M4P files). With MP3, this distinction was impossible, all users were sharing a same, unprotected format. I'm not sure this crack is so...
