Just a thought... The correct Preferences window is available under the Netscape Menu...not under the Edit Menu.

Strange! I have Netscape 7.1 and am running OS 10.3.4 and have no problem setting any of the preferences you mentioned...I suspect you're missing something but I couldn't suggest what...I'm not that knowledgeable. Matt
