hey, did you ever get this fixed? i am having the same exact problem...ny safari just refuses to work. It just wont load any pages...doesnt time out either, just sits there trying to load.

oh yeah, and since you brought up broadband and airport...i am thinking about setting up a wireless network here, but i dont want to take a huge speed hit on my internet connection if i do that. would i notice the difference in speed if i went went wireless?

well, its actually a clean install on a new hard drive, so i didnt think i had to repair permissions...how do i do that anyway? yeah, thats why i said everythign is fine in Explorer ;) I also cleared the cache and restarted the computer and still no luck.

Ok, I just got a new hard drive and did a clean install of panther on it. However I left my old hard drive in there as well, now I have jaguar and all my apps (and absolutely everything else) on my one drive and a fresh panther on the other. My question is, whats the best way to go about...

no, no, i didnt mean actualyl driving traffic to the site...I mean setting up the server so that it knows that traffic going to "www.site1.com" goes to one directory, and "www.site2.com" goes to another directory, since they are both on the same machine.

ah of course, dumb question. Do you (or anyone) know whats involved with getting the right right traffic to the right site?
