    iDisk faster in Windows than Mac!!!

    @fryke: that has nothing to do with "compares" of other CPU's! .... i tried to connect the iDisk wit the VirtualPC under the Mac (!!!).... and it was much faster than on the same Mac in Mac OS! :-)... -> twice as fast! • in the connection time 4times faster thats really fact!

    Here is the tip, how the HP OfficeJet G55/85 Driver-Installation for anyone (in Europe, outside USA i think) should work! Til now, i came not to test it, but it seams logical: • Switch System-Language to "U.S.English" • for everyone, who installed in between any driver, have to "deinstall"...

    why do you talk about TCP/IP? Does your HP officejet have an Ethernet-Port? mine HP officejet G55 only has a seriell an a USB Port! And thats, what i want to use: USB!!! USB USB USB USB! :-) (but it does'nt work!)

    Well, at first @bubbajam: • i have not installed the driver for OS 9 but for X. • i know, that a driver was running in OS 9, but he does not work in X. • The HP Setup Assistent is never running in my case, so i'm not able to look, what he says/means. • sure are the USB and TCP/IP Ports...

    HARDWARE-THAT WON'T WORK WITH X

    The HP officejet G55 and G85 are also not usable under Mac OS 10 to 10.1.2 over an USB cable! (and i don't have interrest to buy a HP printserver to connect my mac via Ethernet to the printer!) it's all to much money!

    hey sorry, you think that, but the reality talks another language! IT DOES NOT WORK! *seufz* ;-( by the way, the installer is starting "Classic" in Mac OS X, then it says: "The Office All-In-One communication extension" crashed in unknown reasons".... then (loud the manual) you should start...

    i may believe, that the officejet works, if you have a HP Printserver with Ethernet Connections to the Macs!... but my HP office jet G55 has only a USB connector and i don't believe, that it ever will work under Mac OS X (10.1.2), because HP will be closed soon!....
