I have sold my iMac 17"...

I think the 17" isn't bad... Just depends on your needs. If you need a truely mobile, you would go for 12" or 15" and for the 17", it is really for desktop replacement... P.S. Chinese New Year!! Kung Hei Fat Chow!

I have sold my iMac 17"...

The weight is comparable with those PC desktop replacement notebooks do not mean it is suitable for daily mobility, right? I think it is great for desktop replacement instead of travelling with it from school to home or work to home. It would be great if you just need to travel with it (SOME)...

I have sold my iMac 17"...

I saw the 17" PowerBook in real before I bought the 12". It is too big for me... 6.8lbs... you can try other PC laptops if you unsure what's 6.8lbs. But I think it is great if you need a desktop replacement especially graphic designer. But for me, a student and a freelace web...

    New PowerMacs!

The new Power Mac G4s are not Bluetooth built in... See online store it says "Bluetooth Ready" only. I like the Radeon 9700 Pro graphic card tho. Did you guys see the OS 9 Power Macs? They are more expensive then the new ones. Follow the link on Power Mac Apple Online Store page.

    Inside the PowerBook 12"

doemel, I know I *CAN* access to the harddisk and I even had overclocked my iBook from 500/60 to 600/100  But the feature of replacing the harddisk is the tradition of PowerBook so I am surprised that Apple has removed this feature in the smallest PowerBook. :( I was thinking of getting...

    Inside the PowerBook 12"

You cannot access to the harddisk without openning the cover panel... unlike TiBook you can see the harddisk when you open the back cover. PowerBook 12" is more like the iBook. But I still wait for someone to confirm this...

Apple quietly changed the SuperDrive speed of PowerBook G4 17"

Well, if the 12" and 17" used the same superdrive, they would not have seperated the specs. They would have written this (Model: 12" & 17") and it would also prevent the typo mistakes.
