I can't believe that they put in sharded graphics and still want that much money. I was hoping it would have aleast a 64mb video card half of the mac pro. That would be make a big differance when doing something this graphic intensive.

I put the new universial version on macpro it loads in about 7 seconds with old versoin took 22 to 30 secs.

Well I took the plunge today and sprung for a Power Mac. Got the 1.83 had free printer rebate payed for printer up front get all the money back from Epson. I bought a I book last summer just was not fast enough. So I will have to check out my new toy after work tongiht.

I have to agree with a article I recently read about software for Mac's. It said that alot of companys do not write software because they are afraid if they spend all that time and money. Mac will bring out software like ilife and iworks so they tend to stay away for the mac side of software...

ddr 333 is not single channel memory. ddr stands for dual data rate sends info on up cyle and down cycle. ddr2 is just the latest inprovment to to ddr. I think they should have at the very least put in a 64mg video card in the clone. But intel is famous for trying to get away with inbedded...
