im trying to mount a G4 onto an ibook, both running 9.2 using the firewire command-T trick. i can mount other macs onto the imac fine but for some reason cant mount the G4 onto the ibook, anybody else experience this?

exactly how secure is OSX? i mean, if you have a basic ftp server, appleshare, timbuktu, websharing open? i realise this is a broad question,cant post long ones without errors.

did you all, (problem people) update to what was it, 5J14 then UD the installer, before finally UD to 10.1.1? only i dont think that 10.1.1 installs/updates 5G64 to 5J14 etc b4 UD to 5J28, and this may be why.

what about fireworks? i've heard it has a bit more power (code writing) than dreamweaver?

open international system prefs, select edit,scroll down to find your country, for A4 select British English, select it and hit OK, now drag it to the top of your list, log back in.

dont forget to run software update, you'll have to do this twice, (IE + security UD and installer UD) and possibly re-install itunes 2.0.1.
