Ok, well I found a partial answer so far. The status will change to Away when the screen goes dark, as part of Energy Saver functions. Now, any idea how to change the default "Away" to say more than "Away" ?

Is there anyway to have iChat automatically set itself to an Away message after a period of inactivity (or when the screensaver comes on) and can I cnfigure this away message?

mini-din is an older audophile term. Comes from the fact that the 1/8" jack is a DIN standard (I forget the exact number). DIN is the Deutsches Institut für Normung. It's a standards orginization similar to ISO or VESA.

I would say this definitely does not sound normal. I would definitely have it checked out. Do you have it plugged directly to the wall or are you using an extension cord? Either way, I would say this adapter has an issue.

I have used the Griffin iTrip and the DLO transpod. The iTrip was good, but a pain to have a seperate charging cable, and cupdolder thing. The DLO has worked great, and is a good all in one solution. Similiar to the Roadtrip.

The Apple Store lists headphones with a shorter cord as being included. Why you need more headphones I have no idea.

I have never used iClean, but I have iKlear and have used it with great results on my old iBook, and my powerbook.

I assume the accesories you mean are the headphones, that is listed on the Apple store as being included... not sure what else I am missing.

I will add my 2 cents. I had cooper tires on my old car for a long time. They happened to be the only ones I could get quickly that fit. I found them to not be an issue and wore for a good 60,000 miles which is pretty decent.

I would agree. A recording option would make this device a bit more intriguing.

I would somewhat agree with the name being wrong. I understand the idea of discarding "power" since it does not use the ppc. And I think it does make sense to reaffirm that these systems are macs. I don't think the name flows as well as powerbook, or ibook, or maybe it takes some getting...
