does anyone know of any way besides vpc to get antileech downloads to work with X? They have a java applet that uses M$ JVM, so it fails to load the applet corectly on a mac. Are there any apps that will download from them for mac OS X? Or any work arounds for the JVM? Thanks

there is a httpd.conf setting set incorrectly that makes the server view /whatever and /whatever/ differently. I forget what line it was exactly, but its easily fixable. If i remember, i will post the solution. I had encountered teh same problem when i set up: http://www.resnet.cmich.edu

conversion is possible and there isnt any noticable quality difference. You can easily convert between the 2 when using a PC. I dont know about how to go about doing it on a mac. I would love to see an OS X app to do it. I also wish iTunes would have some minimalistic support for wma files

ed - i dont know the answer. The installer doesnt give any info. One would assume that it would updadte the kernal, but it might just b eupdating other parts of the OS.
