I read that article, but the volume slider doesn't show up in the sound prefs like it says, it doesn't even show that it is present in system profiler... I have tried all my usb ports, both on my tower, both on my monitor, both on the pci usb card I have, and none of them work... any...

I finally got 10.2 today, and installed it, and my iSub doesn't work... :( has no sound out of it what so ever, and it doesn't show up in system profiler... any suggestions? Thanks!

if you are looking to share internet, you can use a software base station... from what I hear 9 works better than 10 in this area, but I dont have airport... if all you are doing is sharing files, the computers should be able to connect to each other with no additional setup.

I think it was because they updated the software updater to require encrypted packages... I had the same problem, and that is the only thing I could come up with, what you have to do is install the updates manually until the rest show up in software update, and you have to do it in a specific...
