    mouseover causes horiz scrolling

When I mouse-over a finder window (docs, etc.) , OR a web page, that is not big enough in the frame, the image scrolls right --to the end, as if I was dragging the bar at the bottom. Just moving the mouse over any part of the window causes it. Haven't changed any settings; can't find anything...

2nd HDD disappeared after Time Machine backup

Sometimes when I type in a new event in iCal and click Done, only the first few words of the message appear in the box. Sometimes it works fine and I can type in a paragraph. Have seen nothing of this problem on the web. What the...? Thanks. Ned

    mail forgets passwords

Cliveports: Thanks. I tried your fix too and it didn't work for me. I have complained to Apple. I think they have dropped the ball a bit with the OS because of their distraction with the iPhone, iPod, etc. Mac is a better OS than Windows, overall, but the support seems really thin to me...

    mail forgets passwords

Here we are three and a half years later and still no fix by Apple.... I am running the latest Mail and Leopard updates, and still have the problem of mail forgetting passwords. Whatever the ISP I am accessing. It is really annoying.
