No need to pipe in. I understand that the majority of 10.3.3/Toast 6 users don't have a problem. I'm not the only one who is experiencing the same issue. I went to the Roxio discussion board and there are a few. This started immediatly after the 10.3.3 upadate.

Thanks for all the help. I think I'm going to go back to Toast 5 until Apple or Roxio comes out with some sort of update. This problem it becoming a bit time consuming.

Is there a program that plays SVCD's from a disc? I use VLC to play my VCD's. VLC doesn't seem to handle svcd's to well.

There is no CD stuck inside. There is a little lever type button in front. It does seem to open it, but it still does not open when I hit the eject button. It make an attempt to open but just won't unlock.

My disc drive all of a sudden has problems opening (I-Mac flat panel/DVD/CD-RW). It appears to be jammed. Not sure what caused this. Does anyone have any suggestions? If I had to get a new drive for the computer where would I go to buy one? I hope I don't have to send out my computer.

I have no particular burn job. I am just curious if you can burn in Virtual PC.

Is there any way to burn a CD using Nero in Virtual PC (windows 98), on a new I-mac Flat Screen? Can Nero recognize the drive? I'm not sure how to go about this.

I haven't had the chance to try it out yet. And I don't have any DVD-R discs. I know the combo drive can play and not burn DVD's. But can it at least play DVD-R's? Or DVD-RW's?

Well I do use Toast almost all the time. It's just that Nero had better VCD support.

Is there a plugin of any sort to get Nero to read my my drive on my Imac G4 Flat Screen? I know there is no Nero for OSX. I tried using Nero in Classic, but Nero does not recognize my drive. And has Nero given up on Macs?
