Burning in Virtual PC

Is there any way to burn a CD using Nero in Virtual PC (windows 98), on a new I-mac Flat Screen?
Can Nero recognize the drive?
I'm not sure how to go about this.

Do you want to use Nero or do you need to use Nero 'cause you want to burn a .nrg file?

There is a program called Gumby that will convert the .nrg to an .iso so you can burn it with Disk Copy.

I have no particular burn job. I am just curious if you can burn in Virtual PC.

Hey Splinky, I had a question like yours too. Those of us that want to use Nero for whatever reason are out of luck. :(

CD-R(W) Support in Virtual PC

Issue:

Does Virtual PC support CD-R or CD-RW?

Solution:

Virtual PC only supports reading data from CD-R and CD-RW devices. Virtual PC does not support burning CD-R or CD-RW discs within Windows.

Virtual PC emulates a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM only.
