Can I download iphoto from some where or do I have to buy it.

I had the same thing happen to my harddrive I reformated it and reinstalled osx and it still would not boot from the hd drive so I said screw it and got a bigger hard drive.

What does the new powersupply look like, maby you got the rong powersupply. I believe the g3 powerbooks used a rectangle one or a puck type one.

Did it work with the old powersupply and what are the specs of the powerbook?

go here and use the guide http://www.pbfixit.com/Guide/ if the plug on your powerbook is lose or wobbly the plug came lose on your dc/sound board. Hope you get it back running.

Its a Wallstreet II a 266mhz, 192ram, 20gb hard drive. I had os x on it but then the old hd died so I have a 20 gb one coming.

I beleve the the g3 powerbook and ibook only supported os 10.2.8

I had the same problem, it was where the cord plugs into the powerbook it came lose and I had to resoder it back on to the circut board.

Im installing it on a powerbook g3. I herd that os x has to be installed on the first partion. So I would install os 9 first and then os x?

It has a low profile 64mb on the bottom and the orginal 32mb on the top. Which is better a low profile or a full profile?

Should I upgrad my ram with a low profile or a high profile?
