do you agree that a dmg file would be the best solution to have a image file, just because its compatible to open in any mac that doenst have image apps other than the systems? and wouldnt you rather have image files in dmg format rather than toast or iso?

Thanx guys, im not ooking for something to store the iMac, but my iMac is in a dusty environment and when its turned off i want to cover it with something "designish" so thats its protected. Of course it will not be powered on when covered, iam aware of airflow issues and overheating, so dont...

i have a toast image file and i want to convert it to dmg format so it can open to any mac that doesn't have toast installed, is there a way to do this from the latest version of Toast Titanium?

Are there any special cases, in order to be able to protect my 27" iMac, keyboard (small) and mighty mouse from dust?

25GB is available at the moment, but i prefer to make a clean install, there are stuff (apps) i do not want so making it clean will be the best, anyhow illl save space doing it clean!

thanx for the info guys but i really cant afford to buy anything (ram or an ssd drive) to make my PBook run faster, all i can do at the time is to reorganize possible mistakes in software so you are not recommending me to go with Tiger? Should i better reinstall Leopard?

but isn't the processor also small for Leopard, i mean wouldn't Tiger be more suitable to those old specs? Also keep in mind that this computer will only be used for internet work

I have a Powerbook G4. (1.67ghz, 1GB ram) thats running with Leopard. It was given to me that way and i must say that at some times its gets kinda stuck, the colored wheel just keeps on turning without stop. Do you think that Leopard is too heavy for it, should i have Tiger on so that it works...

ok let me ask another question, is it wise to use the duplicate finder app to search in the TM backup too or will it mess it up and create problems to it?

yes i know regarding this TM restore but it concerns only the final backup right? i want to be able to restore files from EVERY older backup/day, is that possible to be done auto, or only manually?

the files i want to sort out are jpgs, tif, eps, ai, psd, indd, qxd, doc, pdf and video files OSX is 10.6.5 on iMac

which is the best app so that one can find duplicate files and also to have the ability to see previews to be able to compare?
